Leicester City are ready to sack Claude Puel, reports say in England. Pressure on the French manager has been growing after The Foxes were demolished by Crystal Palace (5-0) last week. Former Watford manager Marco Silva is being tipped as the biggest candidate to take over at Leicester.
After Leicester sacked Craig Shakespeare in October, fans were surprised the club turner to Puel. The former Southampton boss then got a good start at his new club, winning five of his first eight games in charge. Recently Leicester’s form has been declining, with only two wins from the last eleven games.
The 5-0 defeat at Crystal Palace raised questions about Puel’s future once again and according to the Daily Mail, Leicester’s board is currently working on a contract termination. It remains unclear if Leicester wants to appoint Silva for the last two games, or contract him for next season.
