Nagatomo completes permanent move to Galatasaray

Yuto Nagatomo has joined Galatasaray on a permanent transfer. The Turkish giants are reportedly paying 2.5 million for the Japanese defender. Nagatomo already spent last season on loan in Istanbul and has now made his move permanent by signing a two-year contract.

Nagatomo joined Inter in 2011 and made 213 appearances for the club, playing 170 games in the Serie A, more than any other outfield player made over that same period. In the last few seasons he lost his spot in the team, and we was sent on loan to Turkey last summer.

Nagatomo played 16 games for Galatasaray last season, playing a role in winning the Turkish league title. During his career the Japanese full-back also played for AS Cesena and FC Tokyo.
