Fulham is closing in on signing Serbia striker Aleksandar Mitrovic from Newcastle United in a reported 20 million transfer. According to the Telegraph an agreement with both club and player are close and could be finished shortly after the forward returns from Holiday.
The Premier League newcomers have reportedly agreed a deal in principle with Newcastle, although there are some minor details to be agreed on. Mitrovic is currently on a short holiday after he was knocked out with Serbia after the group stage at the World Cup in Russia.
It is now believed that the transfer will be finalised before the end of the month, with Fulham set to break their transfer record for the former Anderlecht forward. Newcastle is asking around 20 million, which would smash their old record of 12.4 million for Greece forward Konstantinos Mitroglou back in 2014.
