According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are in talks with Sevilla to sign midfielder Steven N’Zonzi. Gunners boss Unai Emery has worked with the French international during his time at the Spanish club and has instructed his board to complete a deal for the 29-year-old.
If Arsenal completes a move for N’Zonzi, the midfielder would be returning to the Premier League after spells with Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City, before joining Sevilla in 2015. The French international, who is currently with Les Bleus at the World Cup, has made 136 appearances for Sevilla.
Since Emery took over from Arsene Wenger at Arsenal he has been busy on the summer transfer market. Arsenal has made three signings thus far and reports are the Gunners are looking at more players to bring in. Stephan Lichtsteiner , Bernd Leno and Sokratis Papastathopoulos have all been signed this summer.
