Everton are ready to beat Internazionale and Bayern Munich in their hunt in signing a new forward. The Toffees are in advanced talks to secure Girondins Bordeaux winger Malcolm, reports Sky Sports. It is claimed that Bordeaux chairman Stephane Martin will meet with Everton representatives on Thursday.
It is believed that Everton have agreed an initial 35m fee for the Brazilian, who is set to sign a five-year contract worth 100.000-a-week. The 21-year-old joined Bordeaux in January 2017 and told reporters in February he had an agreement with the club that he could leave during the summer.
Earlier reports stated that Bayern Munich had marked Malcolm as a possible replacement for veteran winger Arjen Robben, but it is believed that the Germans are opting for Anthony Martial instead. Internazionale has also been linked with Malcolm, but are yet to agree terms with Bordeaux.
