AS Roma have won the battle for Brazilian winger Malcom. French club Girondins Bordeaux have announced that they have agreed terms with Romans ahead of a medical and finalising personal terms. It is claimed that Malcom will arrive in the Italian capital on Tuesday to complete his transfer.
Malcom skipped training at his club on Monday, which was an indication Bordeaux and Roma were getting close to reach an agreement for the winger. It is claimed that Roma will be paying an initial 35m for Malcom, in a deal that is potentially worth 40m through various bonuses.
The 21-year-old Brazilian has already verbally agreed personal terms with Roma, agreeing to a five-year contract worth 2.5m-per-season. It is reported that Inter was also close to sign Malcom, but Bordeaux refused a season-long loan with an option to buy from the Nerazzurri.
