Watford striker Richarlison has arrived at Everton’s training ground on Monday to complete a medical, reports Sky Sports. With the 21-year-old Brazilian undergoing the medical tests, it is believed that Everton are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Watford.
Richarlison was signed by Watford last summer in a 15m deal from Fluminense when current Everton boss Marco Silva was still in charge at the Hornets. Under the Portuguese boss Richarlison made an impressive start to the season, scoring 5 goals in his first 12 appearances in the Premier League.
It is claimed that Everton and Watford are close to be finalising a deal and are now negotiating the structure of the payments. Everton will be paying around 55m for Richarlison, which would see the forward becoming Everton’s club-record signing, overtaking the 50m Gylfi Sigurdsson last summer.
