Yerry Mina is set to join Everton after the Toffees reached an agreement with FC Barcelona to sign the Colombian centre-back. According to Spanish outlet Sport, Everton and Barcelona have found each other in a €32m transfer fee.
Mina had also been linked with Manchester United, but the Red Devils are giving priority to sign either Toby Alderweireld or Harry Maguire. For that reason Everton have moved quickly to negotiate a deal for Mina, who is expected to sign a five-year contract at Goodison Park.
23-year-old Mina signed for Barcelona in January from Palmeiras but failed to make an impact at the Nou Camp, making only six appearances for the club. The defender then went on to impress at the 2018 World Cup for Colombia, attracting interest from several clubs across Europe.
