Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey has revealed he has attracted the interestof three European elite clubs. The Jamaican has revealed that AS Roma, Chelsea and Liverpool have all contacted his management.
Roma appears to be the frontrunner in the Bailey chase, especially after the Italians missed out on Bordeaux winger Malcom, who made a last-minute move to FC Barcelona. However, Roma is not keen on Leverkusen’s €60m asking price for the Jamaican.
“It’s true, Roma, Liverpool and Chelsea are following me,” the 20-year-old told Kicker. “If a club wants me then they should talk to my entourage and Bayer. My main goal is to grow, I’m young and I want to improve.” It is claimed that Roma are readying an initial 40m offer for Bailey.
