West Ham United have completed the transfer of Spanish forward Lucas Perez from Arsenal. The Gunners will receive €5m for the flopped forward, who has signed a three-year contract with West Ham United.
Perez was signed from Deportivo La Coruna in 2016 for a reported €15m fee. After signing he failed to make an impact at the Emirates, only scoring 7 goals in in 21 games. Last season Arsenal decided to send Perez back to Spain where he joined his former club Deportivo La Coruna.
Various clubs showed interest in Perez in the last month, but the Spanish forward was keen to stay in the Premier League. For West Ham Perez is the second Arsenal player this summer to have joined the club, with midfielder joining the Hammers on a free transfer after his contract at the Emirates expired at the end of June.
