Rangers FC have won the second Old Firm of the season after Steven Gerrard’s side won against Celtic at Ibrox 1-0. Ryan Jack became the hero of the day with a goal in the first half of the game. Rangers pulled of their long awaited win, their first Old Firm win in 12 games.
Gerrard’s side were dominant in both halves, as Celtic goalkeeper was forced to save two shots from Rangers. But after an half hour of play, Jack gave his side the lead with a deflected shot off Scott Brown following fine work by Ryan Kent.
In the second half of the game Rangers were close to double their score, but neither team was able to make a further impact on the score. With the result, Rangers go level on points with league leaders Celtic, though the Bhoys have one game in hand.
