Lucas Paqueta has been officially announced as a new player at AC Milan. The Italians have deposited his contract with the Lega Serie A. The Brazilian midfielder already agreed to a move to the San Siro in October, joining the Rossoneri in a €35M transfer from Flamengo.
By depositing his contract with the Serie A, he will not be eligible to play for them. That means Paqueta could make his debut in the Supercoppa Italiana against Juventus, which will be held in Saudi Arabia on January 16.
The Italian transfer window opened on Wednesday and Milan aren’t the only club to have deposited a contract. Fiorentina did the same for Sevilla loan player Luis Muriel, while AS Roma deposited the contract of Umar Sadiq after he returned from a loan spell at Rangers.
