AS Roma have started negotiations with Feyenoord about the return of Rick Karsdorp. The Dutch right-back joined the Romans two seasons ago in a transfer worth €14M, but a serious knee injury has kept him from making more than 4 appearances.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the negotiations between the clubs are in the closing stages, with only a buy-option being a point of discussion. Roma wants to send Karsdorp on a six-month loan deal, while Feyenoord is hoping to add a buy-option in the contract.
It is believed that Karsdorp has already said goodbye to his teammates and is already on his way back to Rotterdam. The 23-year-old, who has been capped 3 times by the Dutch national team, developed through the youth academy at Feyenoord, playing over a 100 games for the first team.
