According to Diario AS, Alvaro Morata’s agent has arrived in Seville to negotiate his client’s transfer to Sevilla. Juanma Lopez has traveled to Spain on Monday in attempt to push forward his client’s transfer from Chelsea.
Morata joined Chelsea 18 months ago in a €65m transfer from Real Madrid, but the Spanish forward has been struggling with his form ever since he joined the club. It is believed Chelsea wants to get rid of Morata to open up space for a new striker; Gonzalo Higuain or Edinson Cavani.
According to AS, Sevilla is opting for a six-month loan deal without a buy-option. Chelsea, however, want to add the obligated buy clause in the temporary move for the forward. Morata has played 24 games this season for Chelsea, scoring 9 goals across all competitions.
