Borussia Dortmund have started negotiations with Borussia Mönchengladbach about Thorgan Hazard. According to SportBild, the current Bundesliga leaders have marked the Belgium international as their primary target to replace Chelsea-bound Christian Pulisic next season. Bayern Munich is also believed to be interested.
Speaking to reporters at Gladbach’s winter training camp, Hazard admitted he could complete a move. “It’s possible. Dortmund and Bayern are both really big clubs,” he admitted. “Dortmund are playing really good football right now and Bayern want to get back to the top.”
But, Hazard admitted he is focusing on the current season with Gladbach. “I’ve spoken to Max Eberl and I’m completely focused on the second half of the season with Gladbach. After two years without Europe we want to get back in there – and I can still improve myself as well!” It is believed Dortmund are preparing a €42m bid on Hazard.
