Michy Batshuayi is ready to return to Chelsea in January. The Belgium striker is currently on loan at Spanish outfit Valencia, but the LaLiga club has confirmed that they have decided to cut his loan short.
The club’s sporting director Mateu Alemany confirmed Batshuayi will be heading back to London on a press conference on Thursday. The director revealed that Valencia are currently negotiating the terms of the termination with Chelsea and that the striker could be back at Stamford Bridge as early as next week.
After a good second half of the season on loan at Borussia Dortmund last season, Batshuayi was sent on another loan by Chelsea to Valencia. He did make 23 appearances for the club, but only managed to scored three goals during his stay. It is unclear which plans Chelsea have with Batshuayi.
