Cesc Fabregas has completed his long-awaited transfer from Chelsea to AS Monaco. The 31-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half year contract at the French club in a deal reprortedly worth €11m.
At Monaco the Spain international will be re-united with Thierry Henry, who he played with at Arsenal. Fabregas will play a key role in Henry’s side that is currently battling against relegation in the Ligue 1.
With his move to Monaco, Fabregas ends a four-and-a-half years spell at Stamford Bridge after he joined the Blues from Barcelona in 2014. Wearing the Chelsea colors, the midfielder won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup.
