Chelsea have reportedly rejected FC Barcelona’s proposal to swap Brazilian wingers Willian for a cash plus Malcom deal. According to The Telegraph, Chelsea are not willing to sell one of their star players in the middle of the season.
The report claims that Chelsea rate the 29-year-old higher than the proposed €55m plus Malcom by the Blaugranas. It is unclear if Barcelona will return for Willian for a third time after the Spanish giants also saw bids rejected for Willian last summer.
Despite seeing their offer for Willian rejected by Chelsea, Barcelona are still reportedly looking to offload the Brazilian only six months after he was signed in a €41m deal from Bordeaux. The winger has failed to impress for the Blaugranas and has only featured in two LaLiga games so far.
