Maurizio Sarri has hit out at Bayern Munich, saying that the Germans ‘lack respect’ in their pursuit of Callum Hudson-Odoi. The German giants have not hid their admiration for the young winger and they have made their interest publicly known.
“I think it is not professional. They are talking about a player under contract with Chelsea, so they didn’t respect our club I think. I am very happy with the player, he is improving a lot”, Sarri told reporters on Friday. Bayern have made four offers for Hudson-Odoi with Chelsea rejecting them all.
Sarri has been impressed with Hudson-Odoi and the Italian hailed the youngster once again at the news conference. There are some areas to improve, acknowledges Sarri: “He needs to move in some moments without the ball. I would like to have him in the future.” Chelsea play Newcastle United in the Premier League.
