Juventus want to speed up the transfer of Aaron Ramsey to January. The Italians have reportedly agreed a deal with the Welsh midfielder to join them next season, but now it appears they want to sign him in January. To make that possible, Juventus will offer Mehdi Benatia in exchange for Ramsey.
Because Arsenal play in the Europa League this season, Ramsey is eligible to play for Juventus in the Champions League. The Bianconeri are keen on winning the European trophy this season and want to add Ramsey to their roster before the squad deadline on February 1st.
Arenal boss Unai Emery is reluctant to sell Ramsey this month, he could be persuaded to accept a transfer if Juventus add Benatia to the deal. The Moroccan international has only played six games this season and looks to be the first defender to leave the club if Juventus manages to sign Matthijs de Ligt from Ajax.
