Adrien Rabiot is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain after the current season on a free transfer. However, the France international could leave the club this month as the Parisiens could look to sell the midfielder to receive at least a small transfer fee. If a January move fails, Rabiot could receive a chance in the first team says Thomas Tuchel.
“It’s not possible to reinstate him in January, because a lot of things can happen,” Tuchel said on Friday. “If he doesn’t leave, I am open to everything, but that will depend on many things. He trains very well but the situation between Rabiot and the club is complicated and it’s necessary to wait.”
Rabiot’s agent and mother Veronique isn’t too keen on a longer stay in Paris. She stated earlier that the situation has ‘completely deteriorated’ and that there is ‘no going back’. The midfielder looks to join FC Barcelona this summer, with reports claiming that Rabiot has agreed to a €10m-per-year deal with a €10m signing bonus. But, Bayern Munich are also in the mix as the Germans look to hijack the deal in January.
