A injury blow for Sevilla as the Spanish club reveals that forward Nolito will be out for at least three months after breaking his leg. The former Manchester City player is having a difficult season so far at the LaLiga side, making only three league appearances for Pablo Machin’s side.
However, the veteran forward impressed last week with a goal and two assists in Sevilla’s 3-1 Copa del Rey win over Athletic Bilbao last week. His chances on more playing minutes at Sevilla or a transfer away from the club have slimmed down to zero after he suffered a broken leg.
The club released an official statement on Saturday, stating that Nolito broke his leg during a training session. Sevilla’s medical staff expect that Nolito will be out for at least three months and that he will need surgery. Sevilla is the current number three in the Spanish LaLiga behind FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
