Real Madrid head coach Santiago Solari is not planning to help Isco regain his form. The Spanish midfielder has only started three games under the new boss this season and appears to be heading towards the exit at Madrid. Ahead of their trip to Betis Sevilla, Solari told reporters that Isco is experienced enough to win back his position on the team.
“He is good, the same as the other players who have been training,” said Solari. “I would love for all of the players to play more. I am not the one who should give advice to Isco, a footballer who has played for many seasons in Spain’s top division He has the experience necessary to know what he has to do.”
A player that has been given his fair chances of playing time under Solari is Brazilian teenager Vinicius Junior. The left winger is a doubt for the Betis game due to the flu. “We don’t know if Vinicius will travel,” Solari added. “The strength of Real Madrid is the togetherness [of the squad]. The positive sign is that an 18-year-old has come in and is doing so well.”
