Barcelona enter the race to sign PSV starlet Lozano

FC Barcelona have entered the race to sign PSV forward Hirving Lozano. According to Mundo Deportivo the Spanish giants are ready to battle Napoli, who have been linked with the Mexican international for the past few weeks. Chelsea are also said to be interested in Lozano.

The Blues are unlikely to join the battle as they want to sign a midfielder and central striker at the moment. Cagliari’s Nicolo Barela and Zenit’s Leandro Paredes are the ones that top Maurizio Sarri’s list to replace Cesc Fabregas, who joined AS Monaco in a €11m deal.

Napoli are believed to be in the race to sign Lozano. The Italians signed Amin Younes from Ajax last summer, but want to sign the Mexican as competition for the German international. The reports from Italy also claim that Lozano’s agent Mino Raiola will hold talks with Napoli somewhere next week.

It now seems the Italians will be facing competition from Barcelona. The Catalans are not impressed by Malcom’s development and attitude and want to replace the Brazilian with Lozano. It is believed that Barcelona are ready to outbid Napoli and offer a €40m transfer fee for the PSV forward.
