Besiktas forward Ryan Babel is reportedly on his way back to the Premier League. According to De Telegraaf the Dutch forward will travel to London on Monday to finalise a six-month loan deal to Fulham. Other reports from England claim Babel will make a permanent move to The Cottagers.
Babel had six months left on his deal at Besiktas and talks about a renewal have not been fruitful. The Turkish giants are in financial troubles and not able to meet Babel’s demands. It is claimed that Besiktas is eager to remove Babel from their wagelist as the Dutch forward is one of the club’s top earners.
The 32-year-old Babel played four seasons for Liverpool before moving to German side 1899 Hoffenheim. If he joins Fulham, he will be there to help the club fight relegation from the Premier League. The club currently sits in 19th place and have only managed to win 9 points from their last 10 games. Earlier in the season Fulham replaced Slavisa Jovanovic with former Chelsea and Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri.
