Everton’s Morgan Schneiderlin is reportedly on his way to the Italian Serie A. Corriere dello Sport report that the 29-year-old French midfielder may join AS Roma in January, despite falling down the pecking order at Goodison Park this season.
Schneiderlin has only made 7 appearances in the Premier League this season, making a total of 285 minutes across those games. While starting the first two games of the season, he lost his position in the starting XI to Idrissa Gueye and André Gomes.
The French midfielder signed for Everton two seasons ago in a €23m deal from Manchester United. Because Schneiderlin has lost his position on the team, the Toffees are not expected to recoup the transfer fee they paid United.
