Paris Saint-Germain’s search for a new midfielder has brought them to Bayern Munich. The French giants have seen moves for various midfielders fail during the January transfer window and the club is now hoping that Bayern are ready to negotiate a deal for Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches.
According to RMC, PSG want to sign the midfielder on a permanent deal but are still around €15m apart from Bayern Munich’s asking price. That could make a deal difficult for PSG, who are growing desperate to land a new midfielder, despite head coach Thomas Tuchel’s plea to his club to sign a new central midfielder in January.
If PSG fails to agree a deal for Sanches, the club still has hopes to land Zenit St. Petersburg Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes. While negotiations with the Russians have started, it is believed that the progress has been very slow despite the midfielder already agreeing to a four-and-a-half year deal at the Parc des Princes.
