Paris Saint-Germain are getting desperate to sign a new midfielder in January. Head coach Thomas Tuchel already told reporters the situation is critical in Paris at the moment and the club needs to sign a new player. That player could be Napoli’s Allan, who has been on PSG’s list for several months.
A deal, however is still far away as the Italians are holding onto a ridiculously high transfer fee: €120m. It is thought that the Parisiens have rejected the first demands by Napoli, but are ready to go ‘all in’ for the Brazilian and offer a deal that will start at €80m and could potentially rise to €100m with several performance bonuses.
While Napoli and PSG still seem miles apart, it is claimed that Allan has told his employer he would like to join the French giants. If an agreement between Napoli and PSG fail, the current Ligue 1 leaders will switch their interest to Zenit’s Leandro Paredes, who will cost about half of what PSG will have to pay for Allan.
