AS Monaco have sacked Thierry Henry after being in charge for only 104 days. The former Arsenal legend failed to lead Monaco out of the relegation zone in the Ligue 1. Monaco have confirmed that Henry has been suspended on their official website.
Henry took over at Monaco in October and managed to register just five wins in all competitions in the three months that he has been in charge of the club. Monaco are still in the relegation zone in the Ligue 1, though there are only two points behind a safe spot.
The former forward also failed to win a home game in the league, with the last game at the Stade Louis II ending in an embarrassing French Cup defeat to Ligue 2 side Metz. Monaco have not won a home game since May last season. The club have announced that Franck Passi will take control of training on Friday.
