Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly completed a deal to sign Zenit midfielder Leandro Paredes. According to L’Equipe the 24-year-old already successfully underwent a medical in Paris on Thursday and is awaiting confirmation from the Russian giants to sign a contract.
It is reported that the 24-year-old will sign a five-year deal at PSG in a transfer potentially worth €50m. Chelsea were also interested in Paredes, but have now been beaten by the French giants to sign the playmaking midfielder.
The former Boca Juniors midfielder is well needed at the current Ligue 1 leaders after Marco Verratti suffered a serious ankle injury, while Adrien Rabiot has been banned from the first team after he rejected to sign a new contract and is expected to sign for FC Barcelona.
