Victor Moses completes 18-month loan deal to Turkish giants

Victor Moses has completed an 18-month loan spell at Turkish giants Fenerbahçe from Chelsea. The Nigerian winger fell down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge this season with just two appearances in the Premier League and asked the club if he could leave in January.

Moses was considered a regular under former boss Antonio Conte in Chelsea’s 2017 title, playing as a wingback on the right side of the pitch. The Nigeria international, who moved to England at the age of 11, began his career with Crystal Palace before joining Wigan.

Moses was then picked up by Chelsea in 2012 after an impressive season for Wigan in the Premier League. He also enjoyed loan spells at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United. At Fenerbahçe Moses hopes to help the team move clear from the relegation zone. The Turkish club had a terrible start to the season and are 15th in the Super League, only out of the drop zone on goal difference.
