Bayern Munich are prepared to land a new bid for Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi this week. The German giants already had three bids rejected for the England U21 international, but are now ready to break the club’s transfer record to sign the forward.
Chelsea are reluctant to sell the talented forward and tried to convince Hudson-Odoi to stay at the club, offering him a massive €85.000-per-week salary. While there has been no official statement on the offer, it is believed that Hudson-Odoi has rejected Chelsea’s offer as he wants to join Bayern.
With the winter transfer window closing in five days, Maurizio Sarri’s side need to make a decision on the forward’s future. Not selling him in January will drop his value dramatically as his contract will expire in 2020. Chelsea have to decide whether to cash in now or face losing the player for half the money in the summer.
