Juventus are preparing for a one in, out out transfer involving Medhi Benatia and Martin Cáceres. The Moroccan defender confirmed that he wanted to leave the club after falling out of the first team this season and it is believed he is ready to sign for Qatari side Al-Duhail SC.
With Benatia ready to leave the club before the end of the weekend, Juventus have reportedly acted quickly as they are close to bringing back Cáceres to the club in a transfer from Lazio. The Uruguayan defender is having his medical at Juventus on Saturday and could be confirmed as soon as Benatia completes his deal.
The 31-year-old Cáceres has a history at Juventus, playing for the club from 2012 until the summer of 2016. The defender, who can play as both a central defender and a wing back, played 110 games for the Bianconeri and has earned 86 caps for the national team. Cáceres has also enjoyed spells at FC Barcelona, Sevilla, Southampton and Hellas Verona.
