Internazionale reject Arsenal’s loan offer for Ivan Perisic

Internazionale have rejected Arsenal’s loan offer for Croatian winger Ivan Perisic, claims Sky Italia. The Gunners want to sign the left winger on a six-month loan for a reported €5m fee. The 29-year-old Perisic would then make a permanent transfer in the summer worth €35m.

Perisic has started 14 games of the possible 20 for Internazionale this season in the Serie A and the Croatian has been in a decent form for the Nerazzurri this season with three goals and five assists. Despite his importance for Inter, head coach Luciano Spalletti is prepared to let the forward leave the club.

But, it appears Spalletti would only be interested in a permanent deal for the player who turns 30 in February. He said: “It’s a player that has been talked about because everyone values him as much as we do, and if anyone wants to buy him they will need to pay him good money because we rate him a lot.”
