FC Barcelona have joined a long list of clubs that have interest in AS Monaco midfielder and Belgium international midfielder Youri Tielemans, reports Nieuwsblad. The Belgian outlet claims that the Blaugranas have been monitoring the midfielder and could make an offer to sign him this summer.
While AS Monaco have been experiencing a terrible season, the 21-year-old midfielder has been of the few highlights for the Ligue 1 club. His performances this season have attracted the interest of several European clubs, with Manchester United and AC Milan among his admirers.
Monaco re-appointed Leonardo Jardim last week as a replacement for Thierry Henry and it was the Portuguese head coach who wanted to sell Tielemans last summer. Now Jardim is back in charge at the Stade Louis II, Tielemans could be available for a cut-price. The midfielder has played 20 games for Monaco this season, scoring five goals.
