Medhi Benatia has completed a move from Juventus to Al-Duhail from Qatar. The Italian giants will receive a maximum transfer fee around €10m for the Moroccan international.
Juventus wanted to keep Benatia at the club for the second half of the season, but the 31-year-old was keen on leaving the club. The central defender found himself out the team on more than occasion and wanted to move on to find more first team football.
Benatia has found that challenge at the Qatari champions from Doha, though his yearly wages of around €5m also appear a reason to pick a move to Qatar ahead of Fulham abd AC Milan. Benatia joined Juventus in 2016 from Bayern Munich and has played 55 games for the Bianconeri.
