Marouane Fellaini could be continuing his career in the Chinese Super League. According to the Daily Mail, the Belgian Manchester United midfielder will be holding talksthis week with a delegation from Shandong Luneng Taishan to negotiate a move.
A deal for Fellaini does not have to be completed before Thursday’s deadline because the Chinese transfer window will remain open until 28 February. The report has claimed that Fellaini is keen on joining the Chinese club after his game time at Old Trafford has been limited under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 31-year-old was brought to United by David Moyes in 2013 and Fellaini has so far made 177 appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals. The powerhouse midfielder was also one of Jose Mourinho’s favourites and was considered as a key player for the Portuguese manager. But, since Mourinho was sacked in December, Fellaini has only played 31 minutes.
