Georges-Kévin N’Koudou will reportedly leave Tottenham Hotspur on loan before the end of the January transfer window. According to L’Equipe, AS Monaco have opened talks with the Spurs about the availability of the French winger and that a deal is close.
N’Koudou joined Tottenham in 2016 in a transfer from Olympique Marseille. The 23-year-old never managed to establish himself as a first team regular and spent the second half of the 2017/2018 season on loan at Burnley. Tottenham, however, could be reluctant to let the winger leave due to the injury problems the club is having at the moment.
Monaco are very active in the January transfer window as the French club is keen on leaving the relegation zone in the Ligue 1. The club sits in 19th place and have to fear the step down towards the Ligue 2. Monaco have already signed Naldo and Cesc Fabregas on free transfers and Gelson Martins on loan from Atletico Madrid.
