Bayern Munich have found a replacement for Sandro Wagner. The 31-year-old forward completed a move to Chinese club Tianjin Teda and has left Bayern without a direct replacement for Robert Lewandowski. According to reports from Germany, the Bundesliga giants are targeting Werder Bremen’s Max Kruse.
The 30-year-old forward has been in good form this season for Werder, scoring four and assisting 4 in the Bundesliga so far. Kruse is in the final months of his contract at the club, which means that Werder could be open to cash in on the in-form forward during the final days of the January window.
Bayern are not the only interested clubs in Kruse, as Borussia Dortmund and his former club Borussia Mönchengladbach are also reportedly keen on the forward. Dortmund is coach by Lucien Favre, who worked with Kruse at Gladbach and would love to be re-united with the forward next season.
