Napoli forward Amin Younes has reportedly rejected an offer from Celta de Vigo to stay at Napoli. The German winger could be leaving the Serie A side in January after only six months due to the lack of first team football.
Younes was signed from Ajax on a free transfer this summer, with Younes arriving at the club suffering from an Achilles injury. He has returned to full fitness before the end of the year, but has not made an impact on Napoli’s first team, with Carlo Ancelotti only handing him 17 minutes in the Serie A.
Napoli could therefore be open to letting the German international leave in January, but only if an interested club wants to sign Younes on a permanent deal. Celta hoped to sign the winger on a six-month loan deal, but then rejected Napoli’s demand to include a obligated €12m transfer fee for this summer.
