Real Madrid have made Serbian striker Luka Jovic as possible transfer target for this summer, claims AS. The Spanish giants are keen to lower the age of their squad and have been actively looking for young talent. The 21-year-old Jovic fits that profile and has been impressing on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Jovic is currently on his second season of his loan period from Portuguese side Benfica. The Germans have an €8m option to sign him on a permanent deal and it is expected that The Adler will trigger the option before selling him on for a handsome profit. Jovic has been in superb form this season for Frankfurt, scoring 18 goals in 25 appearances.
Real Madrid are looking for competition for Karim Benzema and have marked Jovic as an ideal target for the future. The report also claims that Madrid had been looking at Edinson Cavani, Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane, but decided that these targets are either too old or too expensive.
