Tottenham Hotspur and Real Betis are currently in the final stages of negotiations for a loan move for striker Vincent Janssen. The Dutch forward failed to impress for Spurs ever since his move from Eredivisie side AZ and could be leaving the club on a six-month loan deal.
Sky Sports report that Betis and Tottenham have been in talks for the past few days and an agreement is close. It is understood that Betis want to sign Janssen on a six-month loan deal with a possible obligated buy option in the summer. Tottenham value the striker at €17.5m, but it is unclear if Betis are prepared to meet those demands.
Janssen joined Tottenham in 2017 as a back-up for Harry Kane in a €25m transfer from AZ. Though, the forward was handed a fair share of first team football in his first season, he never managed to live up to the expectations. Last season Janssen was sent on loan to Turkish side Fenerbahçe.
