Yannick Carrasco will not be making a transfer in January, claims his agent Federico Pastorello. The Belgian winger has been linked with a move away from Chinese club Dalian Yifang and was reportedly in talks with AC Milan, Internazionale and Arsenal. Pastorello has now ruled out a move.
“Dalian Yifang have taken Yannick Carrasco off the market,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “It’s very unlikely he’ll move, as Dalian Yifang have formally taken him off the market. His name could be back in the headlines over the summer.” Reports from England claimed Arsenal had been in advanced talks with the forward.
However, his agent played down that his client has received any offers from Europe for the former Atletico Madrid and AS Monaco winger. “In truth, the negotiations never really started. There were some shows of interest from Italy, but we never went beyond that.” Carrasco joined Dalian in February 2018.
