Manchester United will not be making a January Deadline day offer for PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn, Sky Sports report. The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to the Red Devils in recent weeks, but the report claims that United have decided to postpone the offer until after the season.
United’s head of global scouting, Dutchman Marcel Bout, is a known admirer of the youngster and would love add him to their squad. PSV, however, are reluctant to sell the forward midway through the season as the Dutch league leaders are fighting to win their second Eredivisie title in a row.
According to Sky Sports United are also keen on sorting out their managerial situation first before they will make a decision on Bergwijn. The forward has been in superb form this season for PSV and has scored ten goals and ten assists in 26 games so far this season.
