Aaron Ramsey got a rare start for Juventus in the Coppa Italia semi-final against AC Milan, his boss Maurizio Sarri admits he is struggling.
Aaron Ramsey has only played a total of 840 minutes for Juventus since he arrived on a free transfer at Juventus from Arsenal.
The Welsh midfielder has struggled with injuries as well as form since the move.
Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri has struggled to incorporate the player.
Sarri admits that a culmination of various factors has made Ramsey’s transition to a new league difficult.
Ramsey got a rare start in the first leg of the Coppa Italia against AC Milan. But once again struggled and was substituted in the 63rd minute, only minutes after his side conceded a goal.
Sarri himself is under pressure, but in an interview reported by the Sun after the match, he admitted things are tough for the former Arsenal man.
“Aaron Ramsey is growing both as a condition and a belief.”
“It was not easy for him to adapt, coming from the Premier and from a bad injury.”
All the signs are pointing to an early exit from Turin for Ramsey. A return to his old club Arsenal could well be on the cards.
