Good news for the Premier League and their preparation for the return of football in England. There have been no new positive results found in the latest round of tests for the coronavirus, the Premier League have confirmed.
In the sixth round of tests around 1195 players and staff from various Premier League clubs were tested on the virus ahead of the resumption of the 2019/2020 campaign. This is the second time no positive tests were found.
The Premier League is set to return on June 17th with the clash between Aston Villa and Sheffield United. Later that day Manchester City and Arsenal will play each other at the Etihad Stadium. Man City will need to win in order to keep track of league leaders Liverpool.
