Manchester United have entered the race for Internazionale striker Lautaro Martinez. According to Marca the English giants have been keeping tracking the progress of the Argentinian and are now ready to make a smashing 110M for the starlet.
Barcelona have already held talks with Martinez and his entourage at the Camp Nou and it is believed the striker has agreed on personal terms. However due to the coronavirus pandemic, Barcelona could be limited on the transfer market due to their finances being hit hard.
Also, Inter are unwilling to negotiate for any price under his release clause, which is believed to be around 110M. This will make a transfer to Barcelona this summer even less likely. And now with Manchester United stepping in, Barcelona could be left without signing their top transfer target.
Marca states that United are willing to activate Martinez’s release clause, despite extending Odion Ighalo’s loan for another six months and Marcus Rashford returning from a back injury within the next few weeks. United have also shown interest in Borussia Dortmund‘s Jadon Sancho and Aston Villa‘s Jack Grealish.
