Antoine Griezmann is happy to see Luis Suarez return to full fitness for the restart of the football season in the Spanish La Liga. The Uruguayan forward was expected to miss the final months of the season but due to the coronavirus pandemic delay Suarez will be able to help his team mates during the final games of the season.
During Suarez’s absence, Griezmann filled in the striker role on more than one occasion. The French forward, however, is happy to move back to the left side to make room for Suarez. “Luis is our number 9, a goalscorer, the one who makes the difference in big games along with Leo. We missed him in the last games. We are really happy to have a player like him back and he will help us from the beginning.”
The French forward also expressed his happiness to return to league football after a forced break of nearly three months. “We are really looking forward to it. It has been a long time since we played in an official match. I think we have prepared well for this first game and it will be important to get off to a good start in these 11 finals we have left.”
