Paris Saint-Germain have emerged as late candidates to sign French wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga from Stade Rennes. The 17-year-old has been one of the top performers for Rennes in this season’s Ligue 1 campaign and could now be involved in a bidding war between Real Madrid and PSG.
The Spanish giants have been in awe of the young starlet, with boss Zinedine Zidane being a great admirer. Reports claim that Camavinga has already spoken with Real Madrid officials and has now set his sight on a move towards the Spanish capital. PSG, however, have high hopes to convince Camavinga to move towards Paris.
Real Madrid and Rennes have been in talks for the teenager, but a deal has not been struck. Therefore PSG could have stepped in with a last minute offer to try to reach an agreement with Rennes. It is believed that Rennes are looking for a €65m transfer fee for Camavinga, who has a deal until the summer of 2022 at Rennes.
