Bayern Munich‘s Corentin Tolisso will not be moving to Manchester United anytime soon. His agent Eric Castagnino has rejected the rumours that his client has been having talks with the Premier League giant, stating he is concentrating on Bayern Munich.
“I am not having any discussions with Manchester United“, Castaignos told Sky Deutschland. “Corentin is currently injured and his return to the field is an absolute priority.” The French midfielder has been injured for most part of the season, only featuring in thirteen games so far.
Despite his agent denying a transfer, speculation on Tolisso’s future at Bayern are still emerging. The midfielder joined from Olympique Lyon in 2017 in a big money transfer and has yet to make his mark at the Bavarians. He has suffered from a serious knee injury in 2018 and has been suffering from an ankle injury this season.
This could wel mean that Bayern is ready to offload the midfielder to make room in their wage budget for new signings. It is clear that the club is keen on signing Leroy Sane from Manchester City this summer, but due to the coronavirus pandemic Bayern’s finances are limited.
